Wear It Purple Day catering for workplaces and schools
Wear It Purple Day 2026 is on Friday 28 August. This year's campaign is Colours of Courage.
Turn your purple dress-up day into something people gather around. Put on a morning tea, run a fundraiser stall, or leave a few boxes in the staffroom. We make cupcakes, mini cupcakes, donuts, iced sugar cookies and brownies for the day, in bulk packs sized for a team, a year level or a whole floor. Adding your company or school logo is also available.
We donate 10% of the profits from this range to the Wear It Purple foundation, which supports LGBTQIA+ young people across Australia.
When is Wear It Purple Day 2026?
This year Wear It Purple Day is on Friday 28 August. It's the last Friday of August every year.
You don't have to hold your event on the day itself. Plenty of workplaces and schools run theirs earlier in the week so it doesn't clash with a Friday half-day or a quiet office.
If your morning tea is time sensitive, we recommend having your order delivered a day before. Our products store well overnight. Check product pages for specific storage instructions.
What to order
Mini Wear It Purple Cupcakes
Bite-sized, so a box stretches further. If you've got a big floor or a full assembly to cover, start here. Melbourne delivery only.
Wear It Purple Cupcakes
Full-size, topped with Wear It Purple edible designs and purple buttercream. Packs run from a team of ten up to a few hundred. This is what most offices order.
Wear It Purple Donuts
Purple icing, rainbow sprinkles, Wear It Purple toppers. People spot them from across the room. Melbourne delivery only.
Personalised Colours of Courage Cupcakes
This year's campaign artwork with your logo printed on edible icing alongside it. Up to three logos, images or messages.
Wear It Purple Cookies
Iced sugar cookies carrying Wear It Purple and Colours of Courage designs. These need 48 hours notice, so don't leave them to the last minute.
There are personalised versions of the minis, donuts and cookies too, plus a loaded brownie if you're sending something to one person rather than a group. Add a confetti explosion card to any gift box for the moment it gets opened.
Ordering for more than one office
Use the Send to Multiple Recipients option on the product page or in your cart. You put in as many delivery addresses as you need and it goes through as one order, so you're not checking out five separate times.
If it's a bigger activation, or you need deliveries landing in different states on the same day, get in touch. Reach out to us and we'll help you get your order going.
Delivery and lead times
Melbourne. Same-day delivery, as long as you order by 1PM. Pick your delivery date at checkout. There's also a morning window between 8am and 12pm for selected metro suburbs, which costs a bit extra but takes the guesswork out if your event is early.
Sydney and everywhere else. Next-day delivery. At checkout you can select the option to have it arrive by Friday 28 August. If you need a different date, reply to your order confirmation text or email and we'll change it.
Timing. Sugar cookies need 48 hours. August fills up and this range usually sells out before the day, especially for bulk orders, so get in earlier than you think you need to.
